Manhita—meaning "together" in Chamorro—represents our commitment to uniting the Chamorro community through storytelling, education, and cultural preservation. We produce documentary films that explore the complex history, resilient spirit, and vibrant culture of the Chamorro people, from the ancient pre-contact era through Spanish, Japanese, and American colonial periods to the present day.
Based in Redondo Beach, California, we work closely with Chamorro communities in Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and throughout the diaspora to ensure authentic representation and meaningful dialogue about what it means to be Chamorro in today's world.
